Calvin is seven months old!! Ahhh how did this happen!!! my baby is slowly (actually rather quickly) turning into NOT a baby anymore. And it makes me kinda sad because he's only seven months! He's a fast learner, that one is. 

At SEVEN months: 

Calvin is standing up to everything and anything. He actually started doing this at 6 ish months. It's even worse now because he isn't afraid to do it anywhere now, especially in the tub. He falls every time cause of the slippery-ness. It is his favorite thing to do these days.

Calvin still eats like it's his job! He wants anything you're eating, and gets super mad if he can't have it. Going out to dinner is not so fun anymore when we take him. We pretty much just get yelled at by him the whole time haha. It's actually pretty funny... And other people laugh too. I've never heard a baby yell so much! And when I am feeding him, between EVERY bite he yells because no one is fast enough to get that spoon up to his mouth. This babe is gonna make me go broke! 

He finally got his two bottom teeth the last couple weeks! Yahoo! I feel like he was teething for two months with nothing to show for it. But sadly, this also means the nursing has almost come to an end. I always said I'd keep going until I became a teething toy.... And that's what I've become. Hurts so bad. I'm only nursing about once a day now. But hey, 6 months was my goal so at least I made it this far right!? 

He tries to feed himself but the food usually gets stuck to his hand so he gets frustrated haha. He's figuring it out though! :)

We finally made the switch to size 3 diapers last week! He has his dad's bum (haha...did I just say that??) no bum! I guess I don't really have one either, but I'm short so it's not as weird as being 6.7 with no butt haha. 

You guys aren't going to believe me... But he took two steps last week. I was reading scriptures with my family and my sentence sounded something like this: "For behold I Sayeth unto you oh my gosh Calvin just took two steps!" Haha. I was the only one who saw it too. He was just trying to get from my chair to the bed spread without having to fall down and crawl. So he held his breath and took two quick steps to get there haha that little stinker. He hasn't done it again since though! Hopefully I have until at least 9 months before walking starts!

This babe of ours is growing growing growing! My guess is he's just under 18 lbs. He is looking more and more like a Hansen every day people tell me. I agree of course, But he will always have some of his dad on his face! How we got a blue eyes blonde out of us, I'll never know haha. Sorry for the novel guys! I could talk about my little guy all day.
